Highly recommend Franklins. By chance I came across a Honda in their showroom and contacted Steve who gave me all the information on the car and left it with me, no pressure at all to buy but was on hand to answer any queries I had. He then helped with a part ex on my old car and was on hand with insurance recommendations. When I picked up the car it was spotless inside and out with all documents ready. I took the car for it’s annual service just a couple of weeks later (car had service pack and Steve has made me aware the service was due before any money was exchanged) I took it to the Honda representatives on island who tried to tell me the car needed 4 brand new tyres.  Quickly got in touch with Steve who had all the paperwork to show the tyres were weeks old and was very quick to reassure me that the tyres were fine. Fantastic service and knowledgeable.  Would happily buy another car from Franklin’s.

I'd just like to give a big shout out to Franklin's of Port Erin for their exceptional service since I started having dealings with them over three years ago. A little backstory, if you will indulge me... As I'm sure you can tell from my profile picture, I'm not the most professional looking person - long hair, beard, usually wearing some sort of stupid tshirt - and I've noticed that a lot of major car showrooms tend to not take me seriously when I'm there. Franklin's, however, made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped through their door, looking at an E Class estate. Unfortunately, after discussing finance, at the time I couldn't make it work and had to turn them down. They were very understanding and didn't make me feel like I'd wasted their time - so when I went back 3 months later to view another car, I had the same treatment, made to feel welcome. This time, I ended up taking it. Over the course of 3 years, they'd had a few models in that had interested me, and they'd always made time for me to take them for a drive and get finance figures for me. Again, they were understanding that while mid-finance it was probably not going to be doable. Step forward to this week just gone, and they put a car on their site that really caught my eye. I was straight onto an email to Steve Franklin, and was discussing figures. He took a lot of time out to explain about settlement figures, balloon payments etc (this would be my first time ever trading in a car) and made sure I fully understood everything. His father also remembered me from my first purchase, and we had a very friendly chat about the car. I've received nothing except professional, courteous and friendly service from the dealership. Because the price of the car had already been reduced by £2000 between being listed in the paper and being put on their website, they were unable to offer me a reduction on price (can't blame a guy for asking!) but they did agree to overlook the need for two new tyres on my old car (which would normally knock a couple of hundred off the trade-in value), and also offered to split the cost of a year's road tax, and threw in 6 months warranty with a specialist company (and an offer to extend it to 1 year for a price that research proved to be EXCEPTIONALLY competitive), and a 1/4 tank of fuel (may not seem like much, but definitely good for 100+ miles). I know used car salesmen get a lot of bad rep - many deserving of it - because they're pushy or just plain dodgy, but Franklin's family-run operation never gave me a bad feeling. They never pushed me towards a sale, and they treated me the same way you'd expect to be treated if you went in clean-shaven in a suit. I think the small, family-run nature helps, because they're obviously not paid on commission so won't scramble over you to get a sale. As long as their stock continues to be as good as their service, I will be back time and time again.

Had my Mazda serviced last month. A thorough job, and realistic recommendations considering the cars age. Definitely recommend. Also noticed a used car getting worked on before sale, so they obviously check stock over rather than just clean it and put it out. I'd buy from there.

Fantastic service all round We never once felt pressured into buying the car.
